Unfortunately Allison had hit a bit of a wall earlier and was trying valiantly to hang on. You could tell with 100 meters to go she was running on fumes. How she held up through to the finish is a testament to the grittiness of this girl who has carried the program the last few years. Last year we were strong enough so that we could have actually won CCS without her. This year we didn’t have that luxury: we needed those low points up towards the front, and, as usual, Allison delivered, finishing in 6th.
