For various reasons, there were only 2 sophomore girls from Mountain View in the sophomore race. This is the "standard" course for the SCVAL high school division and Emily's first try at it (she will be in 2 more races here this fall). She finished in the top 10, and pretty much matched her time from the Stanford Invitational, even though this course has many more hills. Many of these pictures from the Arakaki family.
