Emily and Shelly's parents Harry and Marie joined me for a hike from Muir Woods to Stinson Beach. An amazing hike, highly recommended, starting in the redwoods, then up over the ridge to the Pacific coast and Stinson Beach. For some of these images I experimented with the High Dynamic Range (HDR) technique (7 exposures per image). There is really no other way to capture the range of exposure in a forest on a sunny day, though here is still definite room for improvement (with my technique as much as anything).
