In August we finally made it to the YMCA Family Camp at Lake Sequoia, near Kings Canyon National Park. Emily has been begging to do this for years. We had a great time doing the regular camp stuff - trying to catch little fishies with a net, making tie-dye shirts, going on little walks and big hikes, swimming, canoeing and kayaking in and around the lake, hunting for giant frogs, eating marginal camp food, and sitting around a very entertaining campfire at night.
